Subsidiaries can be included within your approval.

If you wish to include additional offices under the Approved Employer status, these offices must be classified as subsidiaries, not sister companies:

1. Subsidiaries are companies controlled by the parent organisation, typically through ownership of more than 50% of shares. They operate as separate legal entities but are under the control of the main company.
2. Sister companies are separate companies owned by the same parent but are not controlled by the main company and therefore do not qualify to be added under the Approved Employer scope.

To add subsidiaries to your approval, please download the Excel template provided as part of your application. Please list all your subsidiaries in this Excel template and upload it as part of your application.  It is crucial to upload all subsidiaries that should be included in your approval.

Once submitted, ACCA will review your application and will contact you if any further information or clarification is needed regarding your subsidiaries. Please note any subsidiaries added to your approval must have the same learning and development policy as your main approval.
