How it works
Apprentices learn on the job with their employer while also studying with their learning provider.
Apprentices complete on-programme exams throughout their studies, followed by an end-point assessment (EPA).
When the apprentice has finished their on-programme exams, completed a minimum of 12 months’ training, and the employer agrees they are ready, they can proceed to the EPA.
The apprenticeship runs all year round, so there’s no specific deadline to start by.
Please see Apprenticeship qualification structure for full details on the exams, assessments, and progression requirements.
