To become a Certified Accounting Technician, you must demonstrate relevant skills and experience within a real work environment. This is what the Foundations Practical Experience Requirement (FPER) is all about.
You’ll need to complete 12 months supervised experience in a relevant role(s) and demonstrate that you have gained a range of skills by achieving eight performance objectives. You’ll record your FPER in your MyACCA account and have this signed off by a practical experience supervisor.
For further information, including the FPER essential guide, and performance objectives booklet, visit our FPER section on ACCA Global.
