The SBL pre-seen is a PDF document, with information about the business activities of the organisation and the industry in which it operates. It provides important contextual information to help you better understand and apply the information that will be contained within the exhibits in the exam.
Accessing the SBL pre-seen
The SBL pre-seen will be made available 2 weeks before of the exam date on the exam planner. You'll receive an email when the pre-seen is available, advising you to familiarise yourself with the content ahead of the exam. We'll send reminders to access the pre-seen material before the exam date. It's important that you review the pre-seen material in advance of sitting your exam.

You are not permitted to take any notes into the exam.
SBL content updates
The information is refreshed each session so it's important you access the pre-seen material directly from your exam planner, as it will have the correct version. It's not advised to store a copy locally on your device as it will be invalid after the exam session. If you take a remote exam, the pre-seen material is the same from your week 1 sitting.
Should you request to cancel your exam and it's processed, you will no longer have access to the information.
