There are a few common reasons why a token cannot be created:

Student not registered: The student may not yet be registered under your centre’s account. Please refer to the CBE Centre User Guide, available via the Online Administration System, for instructions on how to complete the registration.

Incorrect qualification: The student may be attempting to book an exam under the wrong qualification, and their account hasn’t been transferred yet. Please contact the student directly to confirm which exam they intend to book.

Student not visible in the system: If all details are correct but the student still doesn’t appear, please ensure you’ve selected the ‘Show all students’ option, as shown in the screenshot below.

If your centre is unable to create tokens or book exams, it may be due to one of the following reasons:

Licence not renewed: Centres cannot book exams unless their licence has been renewed for the current licence year. Please ensure the renewal has been completed via your MyACCA account and that the relevant licence fee has been paid.

System dates not updated: If the licence has been renewed but you’re still unable to book exams, it’s possible that the dates haven’t yet updated on the CBE Online Administration System. In this case, please use the Contact Us option below to contact the CBE Delivery Team so we can update the system manually.

If you are still unable to create the tokens, please use the Contact Us option below.
